Hey Nuuze! You are correct that sleep deck platform was backwards. We actually changed it to be correct after this video. It worked fine as we had it, but we too wanted it the way it was intended. Glad you got the system. 14 countries later and the Goose Gear was a solid addition. Super happy with it! ~ Eric

Absolutely. We did several videos on the city of Guanajuato! Still our favorite city in our entire journey so far. Some of those places have closed since we made the video unfortunately. But some are still open. If we retired there, and that is a big IF. We'll surely do an update. But that may be years from now. Right now if you've caught up on our latest videos we've made it down to Argentina. ~ Eric

Honestly very well overall. It could use some more support towards the rear of the cab. BUT.. remember this was a JKU attic that was modified and installed in a JT. Blue Ridge Overland Gear now has a JT attic. So I would definitely go for that one instead. They just didn't have it at the time of our build. ~ Eric

We drove into Mexico in 2019, early 2020 (before the pandemic), and again in 2021 as we started our global overlanding journey. NOT ONCE were we pulled over or treated unfairly in 3 years of traveling throughout the country. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it hasn't happened to us and our vehicle is pretty high profile. ~ Eric

Honestly Joseph, I think it would be EPIC! I don't know who these "most people" are that say it is so crazy dangerous, maybe ask them for their first hand experience. There are some who have had bad actors impact them, but then there are tons of others (the vast majority) who haven't had anything negative happen. You know, kind of like the USA. Did you know that there were more car jackings in the CITY of Chicago than there were the entire STATE of Veracruz? Yep. Fact check it. Our counsel is do your due diligence, follow the "rules" that I've shared in this video, and don't listen to the fearmongers, instead ask folks who have recently been where you want to go. There is a great group on Facebook called "On the Road in Mexico" check it out and remember to only ask those who have RECENTLY been. As in not even us at this point. Honestly great! No issues yet. We'll be sure to post if that changes. But we've had the rig on highway speeds through the Atacama Desert of northern Chile for extended periods of time with no issues. We've made it all the way to Argentina now, and still holding strong. ~ Eric

Great question. Not at all. The only thing we notice is a bit of added height which in Latin America can make a difference as to where we're able to park. But no issues so far, and we hit highway speeds for most of northern Chile through the Atacama Desert. We're all the way down to Argentina now, still with no issues and the panels are kicking off serious energy. Been super happy with them. ~ Eric
